At Pacific Health Counselling & Consulting we adhere to three overarching principles: Integrity, Competence and Commitment.
We pledge to engage in ethical practice and abide by the code of ethics and standards of clinical practice established by the B.C. Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). The BCACC’s code of ethics is, in turn, comprised of the following four principles, namely: (a) Respect for the Dignity of all Persons and Peoples, (b) Responsible Caring, (c) Integrity in Relationships, and (d) Responsibility to Society.
We pledge to engage in ongoing professional development, stay abreast of developments in the counselling field and utilize empirically supported and evidence-based counselling models.
We pledge to support our clients throughout their treatment regime and provide follow-up services as necessary.
